Our players could find arena replay feature in our ingame menu recently, what is it and why do we need this? Arena replay is a detailed capture of players actions at arena, including combat and chat log, available to check anytime during arena season..
This feature is used to analyze other players fights, working on different tactics/moves/features and for checking violators (cheaters/afk/wintraders), and possibly scripters in future.
To check arena replay, you need to perform 3 steps:
1. Type .menu command, or use https://wowroad.info/?spell=38057
2. Select "Viewing replays of battles in the Arena"
3. You will see 5 variants:
- 1v1 - 100 fights.
- 2v2 - 100 fights.
- 3v3 - 100 fights.
- player name, classic player name search(sorted by fight date, from earl to late one(this will be useful, so that first page of a list could always show fresh fights)) - 100 fights
- fight number, you can now only get matchID when the fight ends, we plan to display fight numbers (matchID) in web CP for every fight.
For more comfort you can use this addon: Arena Spectator
Replays are saved during arena season, as soon as it ends replays are deleted together with AT reset.
