This is due to the fact that the server cannot work stably at such a high ppl online, player limit will not be fair to players without VIP accounts. For a month of active tests based on x100 and Fun, we had almost no crashes, and those that we successfully fixed. But on x5 the situation was very different, thousands of people in start locations were essentially at one point and because of this, serious problems were revealed in core code, if you try to explain in simple words, the problem is deep in the visibility code and the removal of players, which leads to loss pointers and a memory fail, in C ++ it is equally crash, it is impossible to rewrite and debug these moments in such a short time, this decision was made.
What will happen next:
- Opening of the WoW Circle 4.3.4 x5 realm, is postponed to 11/30/19 at 19:00 Moscow time.
- All current progress is maintained, that is, on the 30th, everyone will start from where they left today.
- Currently active logon VIP accounts have been renewed for exactly one week.
- All week we will be engaged in deep debugging of core code on the worlds x100 and Fun, we got all the necessary data about the current problem.
- Also, in other areas, work will continue at the same pace and schedule, so the workable content will be even higher by the time the realm is restarted.
- Additional advertising will be purchased and the current one will be extended in order to collect at least same a number of players at the reopening.
We will do our best to prevent of such problems at the core level from arising and test all things.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
