That came to an end a month of holiday for PvP players, our tournament is completed yesterday, final battles in Cataclysm. Some statistics:
- More than 500 unique arena teams.
- About 15% of participating teams were foreigners.
- More 150 spectators looked broadcast the tournament every day.
- In the final battles count spectators reached 300-700 people.
- More 200.000 views live broadcasts and recordings from the tournament.
I think, that despite the fact, that it was not the season for games and tournaments, because are all similar tournaments have been in the autumn-winter period, we still collected a good enough audience of spectators and participants, far more than 1.5 years ago.
Also, this tournament helped us fix some serious bugs in pvp content, that has not been described in the bug tracker and we made some conclusions for further development PvP on our project, here's a list of what will be done within the next months:
- Rewrite vmaps system also implement pathfinding.
- Optimization of the core code to reduce server delay by 15-20%.
- Continued work on bug fixes with spells and their mechanics.
- Opening of new and high-quality Fun realms on TBC, Wotlk and Cataclysm.
- Cross servers for Arena and BG, which will participate together in the battle, players from different realms.
Regarding the spells and their mechanics, specific claims were not, almost all complaints have been eliminated during qualifying, we are very much advanced in development in this year.
Try not to forget about our channel: http://www.twitch.tv/wowcircletv, periodically conducting and announcing the stream not only PvP, but and PvE content.
I would like to thank everyone for their participation and service staff of the tournament.
One of these days will create a new topic, with reference to the records of all of our broadcasts from the tournament.
